Vegemite Croissants
This clip is from last Sunday at a golf course in MD — note how craftfully assistant director Pete follows the ball with the camera.

Greg G. said au revoir to Les Etats Unis on Saturday night — we all had a croissant and some baguettes for him as we bid him bon voyage, mon ami! [...]
I like to do drawrings
So the Academy of Linguistic “Awarness” has a poster that we should all, like, stop using “LIKE” — because we sound stupid. Note how “Awareness” is misspelled in the poster advertising this request. Very odd.

Online shopping giant Amazon.com has just released a beta of it’s new store “Amazon Grocery” — which is essentially Costco without having to pay a membership fee… tons and tons of non-perishable items are up for sale, in bulk and at seemingly impressive discounts.

Movies, Posey and some Afterlife Hijinx
LoveFilm.com celebrated the 100th edition of their weekly newsletter by launching a wallpaper for your computer — with 100 film titles hidden within the picture. In the distance you can see “The Hills Have Eyes” and in the foreground “The Rock”, “Twister”, “Snake Eyes”, etc…

One Roethlisberger — well done.
So I wasn’t a biggest fan of LOTR, but this clip struck me as very funny. This audio of this scene in which Frodo awakens in the Elf stronghold and greets his comrades is replaced by groans and squeals. It ends up being pretty funny.

Roethlisberger went under 7 hours of surgery after breaking [...]
3M & charity phones
Yesterday, where the weather was the exact opposite of today (in DC at least), I played golf for the first time in nearly two years with Mike C., Pete S., and Mike W… they were all astonished at how much I rocked and all strongly recommended that I join the PGA tour…in my mind. What [...]
It’s super, man.
How psyched am I for “Superman Returns“? Let’s just put it this way… I’m wearing Superman underoos… for the 25th day in a row.
Not really… but if I owned them, I wouldn’t take them off for two seconds… or at least until C throws me out with the day’s trash.
In less than [...]
iPods vs. Beer — iPod wins?
According to a recent survey of 1,200 college students, 73 percent of college students said iPods were “in” - more than any other item in a list that also included text messaging, bar hopping and downloading music. (via Detroit News)
Ok…granted, iPods are amazing… and the fact that it pauses automatically when you pull the headphones [...]
Computers Create Cadbury Confectionary Catastrophe
(From news.com dot com)
U.K. confectionery giant Cadbury Trebor Bassett has taken a hit in its profits after information technology problems caused too many chocolate bars to be produced.
Cadbury was left with a glut of chocolate products at the start of the year, after the installation of a new SAP-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system led [...]

From Greg G — In their continuing quest to take over the world, Google Labs has launched another flipping incredible app Google Spreadsheets… collaborate with someone else in an Excel style spreadsheet…
This will be especially handy for me and my woman to collaboratively work on our “Wedding Invite” spreadsheet that will actually quantify how much [...]
