55 Things and a Dancing Matt
There’s an excellent book out called “55 Fun Things To Do With Google” that has a PLETHORA of things to do with Google — it’s on sale at Amazon.com for about $20 — or you can download the entire book for free.
Ummm… I’ll take free please. Thanks.

I was just asking myself the same question… Where the Hell is Matt? I know it’s a bit old, but sometimes I’m late on these things.
It’s quite impressive. Watch. Enjoy.

Brian Finklestein, a Georgetown University student living off-campus called Comcast to help him fix his Internet connection on June 14. After arriving, the technician sat on Brian’s couch and made a phone call to Comcast’s main office to troubleshoot the issue and was put on hold for over an hour — he then fell asleep. Brian recorded this and placed the video on YouTube - set to music — very soon after a shamed-Comcast sent “a team of guys” to fix his connection. This rapid assistance was also helped by the fact the video was featured and or mentioned on MSNBC, in the AP, Philly Inquirer, Chicago Tribune and New York Times.
The sleepy technician was fired.

Speaking of another customer-service nightmare, here’s some audio of a guy trying to cancel his AOL account.

I’m not sure what happened here… comedy gone horribly wrong? Just a technical glitch?
Regardless, it’s nice to see Nancy Grace humiliated as I despise her with every cell in my body.

Note the Superman countdown clock on the right sidebar — I’m wearing red and/or blue all week to celebrate the release. Seriously.

Here’s a fun thing to do with Google. Type in the following query: “French Military Victories”
After doing so, hit the “I’m feeling lucky” button. Then roar with laughter when it asks you if you meant something else. Genius.
