Mike Novik and “his look”
How can you say “We know you’re a criminal and you’re effed.” in a fraction of a second, at the climax of weeks of suspense using no words — Mike Novik does it with “his look” — that subtle, I-got-you-mofo, now- it’s-payback-time sneer as seen on last night’s season finale of 24.
I can imagine what he director was trying to convey to Jude Ciccolella (the actor playing Mike Novik) to get the LOOK he wanted,
“Ok — some guy poisoned the blueberries on your muffin — ” Now you’re watching as the police handcuff him and remove him from the bakery.
Give me “An avenged-smirk with a trace of pity.”
Let your eyebrows say “Moroseful but content with a trace of ‘moderately gratified’”
Now give me “Angrily triumphant” but only show me with your eyes
Purse your lips like you just smelled moldy cheese.
Perfect.

shot in my home town (with my crew) bitches.
so contraversial they kept changing the “name” of the film when they were shooting; “Nutmeg 2,” “Coyote,” to name a couple.
When I heard Wilmer was in the movie I gave my 2 former interns ths following piece of advice, “two condoms, ladies.” I didn’t want them catching what Lindsay/Paris/Mary-Kate had gotten in their game of boy-toy swap.
