Bikes, dolphins & ‘Jack is Back’
The above banner are a collection of “outtakes” from my “Check Card Photo Shoot” — I’ve been deciding which photo to use for my check card for over two weeks now — should I be “funny and outrageous” — “demure”, “seriously serious”, “warm & pleasant”? “What if, sometime down the road I have a [...]
Crazy canucks & the savants
From George B:
Kyle MacDonald of Montreal, Canada really wants a house. In July of 2005 he decided to start trading to get it — and it all began with one red paperclip.
With the paper clip he traded a “fish pen” — with that he traded a doorknob — with the doorknob he got a Coleman [...]
Let’s call him Ducky — no.. Plucky? Nah…
Bucky got unlucky last night — why? Because he sucky. Hahaha.. sucky. I rhymed Bucky with Sucky… it doesn’t get much more clever than that, folks.
The song he chose was “Fat Bottomed Girls” — the 1970’s rock predecessor to ”Baby Got Back”. Unfortunately, his “Bottomed Girls” wasn’t PHAT enough…. eh? ehh? You like that? Oh, I got [...]
Another Awkward Flickr Photo Shoot — “Dr. Ben”
Unfortunately, the photos from this awkward photo shoot have been removed by the photographer since I discovered them yesterday afternoon, so this post is really just a big tease. But I’ll do my best to describe it.
Not nearly as awkward as the other one I posted a few weeks ago but wonderfully awkward nonetheless AND [...]
Let’s go Nats and the Diet Coke/Mentos Video Explosion
The Nats have their home opener at 1:30pm today — too bad you can’t listen to it on XM Online if you have an XM subscription.
As part of their broadcast agreement with XM, you CANNOT listen to MLB broadcasts on XM Online as MLB already has their own online “Gameday Audio” that they want you [...]
The Big Apple Apple to be 24 / 7
Apple is working on a new store in midtown that will supposedly be open 24 / 7. How does this affect my life? It doesn’t. I just thought it was kinda neato. And it’s good to know that at 330 in the morning after hitting up some nyc bars, I can go there and compose [...]
From concept to truck
C asked if I could design a “mobile billboard” for her juvenile diabetes charity walk this summer, JDRF’s ‘2006 Walk to Cure Diabetes’. (In DC and VA)
My initial ideas and drafts stunk, but then I found some great eye-catching stock photos of kids dressed up in superhero costumes. I mixed that with the Walk logo, [...]

SWA at IAD and Clear Channel Sucks Sucks Sucks
Southwest Airlines is coming to Dulles. Huzzah — It’s taking over the affordable-air-travel void left by Independence Air… they plan on announcing routes this summer and the flights to begin in the fall.
……………………..
Annoying Jill Rappaport interviewed Jennifer Aniston and her co-stars of “Friends with Money” on the Today show yesterday and asked about a rumored [...]
iknewitiknewitiknewitiknewitiknewitiknewit
I totally called that President Logan was bad bad bad. When that VP showed up for the first time, it was a lock. They were making the president out to be a weak unlikable man and the VP as the confident, assertive honorable dude to replace him. JB thinking that the VP was behind it was all a clever [...]
