DIY ‘Zza & the Zoo
Carrie’s mom and husband popped into town this weekend from TN to say hello…Friday night we hosted a DIY pizza party, complete with dough-rolling, topping-tossing and flour everywhere with them, Mama Z, Bill and Tim H. — then hit up the National Zoo on Saturday — which was a far more successful trip than our last one — where every animal was either sick, limping or asleep.
(Although whenever a monkey throws up, then slurps said bile back up, it’s always considered a successful zoo visit.)

Sunday, we saw the GMU Patriots knock out UConn LIVE IN PERSON, (in front of my TV). And Q, you best not give me any ess about rooting for the Patriots — if you went to more than 5 GMU games in your years at Mason I’ll eat my hat.

Good things come to those who wait….
No ess from me, at all, especially since i never went to a basketball game, and maybe at best attended 2 sporting events…engineers, what can i say. So keep that hat on your head. But I am cursing ESPN, the south african satellite service (what we get in Kabul, ahh marvelous globalization) was supposed to broadcast the game. They didn’t. Curse them. Curse them all.
