Watch out for the cougar trap, Wayne Palmer!
“24″ always has some level of unbelievability — Jack Bauer never pees, Chloe can access a super-mega-ultra secret network within seconds, CTU is suddenly free of nerve gas after blowing the air conditioners for 10 minutes, Kim Bauer gets stuck in a cougar trap for an entire episode (season 3, i think it was)… yesterday two things were added to the list:
1. Wayne Palmer wasn’t shot at, but rather his tire was blown out… oooooooooh.. a flat tire. Those evil-doers!!! 2. Then his car flipped and landed RIGHT NEXT TO A GETAWAY TUNNEL. Lordy.
But regardless, they do continue to shock & awe with great twists at the end of each episode this season. Bravo, 24 writers. Bravo.

A Whole Foods to shame all other Whole Foods opened recently in Alexandria that C checked out the other day - pizza bar, multiple salad bars, etc.. — but Field Maloney from Slate asks “Is Whole Foods Wholesome?” An article about their “branding / marketing strategies” …nothing really revolutionary, but interesting reading.

I believe the couger trap was in season 2. season 3 was dedicated to Kim’s really bad haircut.
