There’s a New Aquaman In Town
The iTunes store over at Apple just sold it’s 1 billionth song around 9:40pm PST last night. Get a load of what the person gets who downloaded that 1 billionth song:
(From cnetnews.com)
“…the company promised a 20-inch iMac (whether it’s the model with the Intel chip was not specified), 10 60GB iPods, a $10,000 iTunes Music Card and “a full-ride scholarship in your name to a world-renowned music school.”
Unreal! McDonald’s didn’t do anything like that for it’s 1 billionth customer… all they got was some saturated fat soaked in sodium-rich fries and empty calories. Mmmm… saturated fat.
Paul Rudd has joined the cast of Reno 911: Miami – a movie based on the Comedy Central show. Straight to video? Perhaps.
Along the same lines of movies based on shows, due out this year is the much anticipated (by me) “Strangers with Candy” movie…(feat. SJP + Matthew Broderick)
In bigger movie news, Indiana Jones 4 is on for production this year with a zap 7 release date TBD. No time for love, Dr. Jones.
According to SCI-FI-BI-MON-CON, Justin Hartley will be the new Aquaman — (not replacing Vince Chase on “Entourage” of course) this new TV-pilot from the CW (UPN+WB) is still in development. I have no idea who Justin Hartley is, nor do I care much about Aquaman… but Carrie is hooked on Entourage, and it’s infecting me too. It’s good stuff.
