Host Who Boasts An Uncensored Roast
Jimmy Kimmel does this bit on his late night talk show called “Unnecessary Censorship” — I nearly pee my pants every time I see it… they take clips from news, shows, etc and add *bleeps* as if the people speaking are saying something R-rated. It’s akin to that “dirty” Rockin’ Around the Xmas Tree clip I post around the holidays…it’s not dirty but it SOUNDS dirty.

Jimmy Kimmel is also the host of the recently released on DVD “Roast of Pam Anderson” — the show was pretty raunchy when I saw it on Comedy Central — to see it uncensored on DVD is a different experience.
The BEST roasts on the DVD are done by comedians Jeffrey Ross and Greg Giraldo — Jeffrey Ross never fails at a roast — his putdowns+insults at past Friar’s Club roasts are gut-wrenchingly hysterical (see roasts of Drew Carrey, Rob Reiner, Hugh Hefner & Jerry Stiller) — he’s unmerciful with Pam and her big breasts hair hair & breasts — but the fairly unknown Greg Giraldo surprised with a tirade against her and the fellow roasters.
The DVD has some quality extras, especially the red-carpet interviews done by the way-cute interviewer who reminds me of a cuter, more mature Samantha Micelli + some zany outakes. Check it out at the Comedy Central shop…why don’t you pick me up a Kartman mug while you’re there.
