Time to make the doughnuts… in heaven

Alternative title for this post was: “Fred the Baker Meets his Maker

Michael Vale, aka “Fred the Baker” aka the “time to make the doughnuts” guy has died — he was 83. He outlived the “Where’s The Beef” lady by nearly 20 years. (Who incidentally made an appearance in one of my favorite Fred Willard movies, “Moving Violations” AND made a “Where’s the Beef?” single!)

Nissan and Microsoft have teamed up to build a simulated racer within an actual Nissan concept car — the game is
Project Gotham Racing 3 and the car is the Nissan URGE.

Word on the street is that Project Gotham Racing 3 is THE game for Xbox 360 — if anyone’s played it — lemme know what you think.

To build this gaming/concept car Nissan conducted an Internet survey of 2,000 echo boomers, a majority of which said technology and gaming are among the most important attributes in their first car,” said Bruce Campbell, vice president of design at Nissan Design America.

For more about “Echo Boomers” see this CBS News report.

Back To The Future Part IV is a big fat rumor, thankfully. Indiana Jones Part IV however, is still a work in progress.
