So long Walker Street…

Tonight, Carrie and I will be finalizing the lease for our new pad in Arlington, VA and begin the moving in with the big, final day of moving this Saturday. What won’t be moving along with me is my big yellow NO FARTING poster and my PERIODIC TABLE OF BEER poster…but really, I’m way excited to finally live with someone where I can walk around in my koala bear costume and growl at the sound of running water, host Russian Roulette parties and grow my experimental cheeses. It’s so refreshing to be in that kind of comfortable relationship, you know? It’s 1am on thanksgiving eve now…, and i’m sure this won’t be as funny in the morning. bah. whatev.

Pics of the big move and the new place coming soon. Enjoy thanksgiving — do NOT start listening to Christmas music until DECEMBER — I command you.

To repeat here are the top 4 songs you must avoid:

1. Grandma Got Run Over— etc. etc.. (saying the whole title makes me nauseous)
2. Christmas Eve in Washington (again — same reaction as above)
3. A Wonderful Christmastime - Paul McCartney (just added to the anti-xmas song list this year!)
4. Christmas Shoes ( ugh)

But you ARE allowed to listen to — Brenda Lee’s classic, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”. Completely safe for work and home. Enjoy. Sing it with your family this holiday season.

If we’re banning Christmas songs, can we add the Waitresses “Christmas Wrapping” to the list?
