Jackie Harvey graduated from Viterbo University with a degree in English literature in 1990. After honing his writing and copy-editing skills at The Sunshine Shopper, he became The Onion’s entertainment columnist in 1994, replacing the outgoing Archie “Arch” Danielson. Currently, Harvey writes his regular column, “The Outside Scoop,” as well as his blog, “Harveywood!”
Who is that young boy with Tom Cruise? Is it the brother of Tom Cruise’s girlfriend, Dakota Fanning? Why NO, it’s Jonathan Lippnicky of the 1997 hit movie Gary Maguire and BOY has he grown UP! Too bad he hasn’t done anything with his life. Puberty can be a real letdown! Good luck to you Jonathan!
Attention moggles! Harry Potter and the Ring of Fire has just been released and has raked in over $100 million dollars in it’s first weekend! That’s not just magic, that’s movie magic! A very evil Ray Fines plays Lord Vader in this sequel. I won’t give anything away, but I will tell you that Harry’s magical powers save the day!
Walk of Life the new Johnny Cash biopic also was released this weekend! The Man In Black himself, Johnny attended the premiere with his wife and children and was very proud of Wakeem Phoenix’s portrayal of himself.
My fellow scoopters emailed me about another release called Jesus Is Magic a film by comedienne Sarah Silverstein. She’s a very talented Jewish girl who’s reaching for the stars. Mazel tov!
Lindsay Lowhann has changed her hair color AGAIN! I don’t know if I can keep UP with it! First it’s red then it’s blonde and now she’s brunette!! Someone asked me if her drapes match her carpet; I can’t honestly say I’ve seen her home in Bevery Hills but I’m sure it’s lovely and everything is color coordinated very well!
