the consumer-friendly robot machines are coming

drugs to go

First there was the ATM — a robot banker teller machine… then came the pay-at-the-pump robot gas attendant machine, then CoinStar the coin-counting robot machine then came the Redbox where you
can get snacks/movies/groceries from the mini-mart robot machine — now comes the pharmacist robot machine… the ScriptCenter now being test-marketed in California and very soon in Reston, VA.

Enter your prescription and get drugs, without the messy hassle of human contact!!!

What are some other robot machines you hope to see in the future?

Shoe tying machine? Shaving machine?
Orange peeling machine? Back-hair braiding machine?

Wait.. strike that last one.

I am hoping that they will start making picture taking robots. They can put them wherever there is a nice view that you would like to have your picture taken at… just swipe your credit card, place your camera in the camera holder, choose the camera make and model from a couple of pull down menus so that the robot knows which button to push, and then you just get into the picture…. without having to ask some dipshit to take the picture for you… I hate talking to people in those situations - and the worst part is that once they are done totally f-ing up taking your picture, you have to act all apreciative and stuff… Oh, thank you soooo much. Bring on the robots. I grow tired of humans pushing the buttons on my cameras.
