Nats 5, Brewers 2

After a fulfilling day of saving the world one PowerPoint at a time, I headed off to the baseball diamond with my best friend Tony. I kept pushing him to skip mayoring for the day but he was like “Marty — I’ve got this important referendum..” — and I was all, “referendum-schmeferendum T … we’ve got some baseball to watch! Brewers are in the hizzy, T — let’s GO already. Eff that paperwork.”

Nah… it didn’t happen completely that way — actually C bought some quality QUALITY tix very close to 1st, so we kicked it baseball-in-DC style last night at RFK — and watched the Nats squash the Brewers 5-2 during a cool DC summer night. Some nachos, beers and popcorn remnants were had amongst 26k+ fans.

After the game, we were futzin’ around a bit as C was checking messages and this dude with a bowtie started walking quickly towards me — I immediately recognized my boy T… so I was like, “Hey ..thanks for comin’ out– you mind if I get a picture?” .. Mayor Tony was very friendly and obliged.
Carrie wanted to say “Thanks for bringing baseball to DC!!” — all I said was “Thanks for coming out, man” and gave him a friendly slug to the shoulder as he walked away.

Carrie snapped a shot and T continued on his way with his bodyguards.

Do you know what “Dippin’ Dots” are?
Well, late last night, I hopped in my time machine traveled to the future and found out that no one has heard of “Dippin’ Dots”. After consulting with mulptile scientitians we concluded they are most certainly NOT the ice cream of the future. In fact, they’re the ice cream of 8 years ago.

Sleep number beds, dippin’ dots and the new Backstreet Boys album need to all hop on the train that’s on track number 1997 and head away from the station. AWAY.

Thanks to STC for setting the record straight about Dave Chappelle .. and TIME.. and Newsweek.. etc..

Finally, Indiana is not a freak state like much of Arizona or Hawaii — it joined civilization and got with the program.
