Sometimes in my car I’ll talk up a song like I’m on the air in my
make-believe soft-rock radio station WZIG :

Typing it out doesn’t really do it justice? I’ll have to record it
sometime. Carrie thinks its great every time I do it? by “great” of
course I mean “obnoxious”.
Speaking of Bonnie Raitt, I recently made a little mix from some XM
tunes (thank you XM-PCR) and Bonnie Raitts “Nick of Time” is on it? I
remember listening to that song over and over when it first came out,
just because I liked the tune ? but never really understood the
lyrics. It’s really a decent song ? the entire thing sounds like a
train running along steadily — the train ‘o’ life. Ahh, Bonnie ? you
and your clever ways.
