rocky 1977? nuh uh.
EW (Entertainment Weekly) has its annual pop culture quiz in their
latest issue — ( i scored a 40 .. boo ya) one of the questions asks
what movie won best picture in 1977 — their answer: Rocky — as any
self-respecting woody allen afficianado can attest, “Annie Hall” won
best picture that year. So I’m now drafting my hate mail to EW for
their inadequate research:
Dear EW,
Rocky 1976. Annie Hall 1977. You stink.

This weekend C & I saw “dot the i” — a new pic starring the kid from
“Y Tu Mama Tambien” — I don’t want to tell you anything about it
besides it’s worth your time and I give it 6.8 Zaps. Go check it out
at an art-snobby theater near you. Don’t read up about it either. Just go.
Post-movie we stopped back at the neighborhood pub Molly Malone’s for
a pint or two. It was fairly empty in the place until the
“thingstodo.com” bus rolled into town… party train, woo-woo.
