victor’s macaroni grill

this evening after showing off my mom’s new kitchen to C, we headed over to the “Mac. Grill” in RES-Town (aka Reston, VA).

There we had what proved to be the worst experience one could have — our bouncer/waiter was apparently not too experienced in the realm of “making the customer happy” … hopefully, he’ll learn as he goes.. bad night for Vic.

I saw “Virgin Suicides” this weekend.. I’d seen it previously several years ago but forgot how good it was … ( i’ve developed a bad habit of falling asleep during movies that begin after 9pm … start the movie around 8pm — no problem.. 9pm — snooze city … ) Anyway.. it’s good. Go see it.

Also saw “Word Wars” a few days ago via Netflix — about the Nat’l Scrabble Tournament and a few of it’s nutso participants .. it’s pretty entertaining.

Some firetrucks just drove by with all sirens wailing — it’s almost midnight here on Sunday — there is zero-traffic outside…is that really necessary? Really.

I want to see a “where are they now” documentary on those kids. I bet you they are all rocking the Computer Science department at UVA if they didnt already have a nervous breakdown in 8th grade. didnt we see Word Wars in the theatre together? so that makes two re-run movies for you.

Andrea - i thought we saw Spellbound? A different word movie. I hadn’t ever seen Word Wars — i would’ve remembered the “reflux” guy.

Chris - you most certainly did see us — and next time you should say hi and be more paparazzi and less stalkerazzi… thanks for the comments!
That bagel place is in the top 3 in the DC area.
