zap 4 holidazzle bash
Yesterday evening was the Zap 4 Holidazzle Bash in Arlington, VA. One of the biggest highlights of the party, besides the “Boys” team destroying the “Girls” team in a 2-0 late-night Win of “PopSmarts” , the Hot Whiskey Punch, Carrie’s new iPod Speakers and Ally’s Lawyer Jokes was the dessert table. Some may have gathered from previous entries and general knowledge of my tastes, that I’ve got what they call a “sweet-tooth”. In college, during a semi-sober game of “Superlatives” among close friends, I was voted the person most likely to be morbidly obese by the time I’m 30 — I strive for that goal with every Twinkie I shove in my face. This particular dessert table is what gourmands would call “nuts”.
Featured on this table were: Cannolis, Macaroons, Fudge, Cookies, Cupcakes, Chocolate, Cookies, Chocolate, Fudge, Cookies, Chocolate and some more Cupcakes — if Augustus Gloop were in attendance, his head would’ve exploded. “Das is too much chocolate, ya?!? Mein head go poof.” It was indeed a true holiday miracle — the other holiday miracle is me being funkshunal this morning with thrree hors of sleepp… zzzzzz.
