Way to go Red Sox — I’ve been a fan of the Red Sox since I was a small boy and have dreamed forever that they would finally make it to the World Series over the Yanks. Many of you have seen me wearing my Red Sox hat and coat…. Actually by ‘forever’ I mean the last week or so.
Last night’s ‘LOST’ gets 6.8 Zaps out of 10. Semi-weak.
I forgot to mention that Carrie & I checked out the new Regal Cinemas in “Chinatown” of DC (DC’s Chinatown consists of a Fuddruckers, Hooters, La Tasca (Spanish Tapas Restaurant) Ruby Tuesday and Legal Seafood…, and a couple Chinese restaurants that are not on the main strip — the only thing remotely Chinatown about these restaurants is the Chinese lettering next to the large Ruby Tuesday sign). Anyway, that’s not the main point of the story — the men and women’s bathroom’s of this Regal Cinema have hand-dryers that are powered by jet engines — they are the loudest things you’ve ever heard…they make your hands dry in several seconds and also melt your brain. I think the main problem is that they’re mounted right above the sink, so these blasts of hot air just smack into the surface of the sink creating a deafening roar. If you’re in “unChinatown”, you don’t have to buy a movie ticket — just go up the escalator and see for yourself. It’s ridonculous.
