XXVI
Yesterday, my odometer turned to 26. I
celebrated with chili, music, Cranium, teenie
weenies and naps.
Friday: Chili-festivus at Andrea’s house
– Team Four (my team) dominated Cranium – some may
claim I cheated, but really, what are rules??

Saturday: Brunch at Mama Z’s > Damien
Rice @9:30Club in DC
Damien Rice was sick, and had a very hoarse
voice but still put on an amazing show with the help of his
co-performers. My favorite was the cellist who busted
out that ‘Wichita’ song by the White Stripes’.

Sunday: Breakfast with Lesley C (Amphora’s
apple walnut pancakes — Good. God.) –> Football
viewing/digestions on my couch –> Dinner at Jaleo,
tapas joint on 7th St. with Mike & D & Andrea.. I
recommend the little chorizo sausages (the teenie weenies on garlic
mashed potatoes) –> Ryan Adams @930Club. He came
on a little before 10, and after multiple encores we
didn’t get out till a little after 1am.
